Duties

• Provide assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Assist with meal planning and preparation.
• Administer medication according to prescribed instructions.
• Monitor and record vital signs.
• Implement behavior management techniques for individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Assist with mobility and transfer of clients.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the well-being of clients.

Skills

• Knowledge of social work principles and practices.
• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining client confidentiality.
• Experience in caregiving or a related field.
• Ability to lift and move clients safely.
• Proficient in behavior management techniques for individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Competent in medication administration procedures.
• Understanding of assisted living principles and practices.
• Ability to take accurate vital signs measurements
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean environment
• Experience working with people with developmental disabilities.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 40 per week
